Instant Landscape Design 3.0

Your default setting for the design window, Plan Full View is your two-dimensional on-screen work table.

Allowing you to devote the majority of your window to your 2D drawing, 3D Quarter View provides a three-dimensional look at your work-in-progress.

With some tools activated only through the 3D option, Split Plan/30 View lets you complete your task as you keep a firm eye on your 2D design.

Used primarily for the application of finishing design touches, 3D Full View shows you every angle and detail of your drawing.

Tool Options

For drawing, embellishing, and touring your newly created virtual vista, the Instant Landscape Design 3.0 toolbox contains everything you need to finish the job.

Pathway Tool

Select the shape, length, and material of your sidewalks, driveway, and garden paths by using the Pathway Tool templates or custom options.

Pathway options include:

• Concrete
• Asphalt
• Brick
• Gravel

Fill Region Tool

Choose a classically shaped flower bed from the preview menu, install a pond, or design a unique playground for the kids, with the drag & drop options of the Fill Region Tool.

Fill options include:

• Dirt
• Mulch
• Gravel
• Sand

Edging Tool

Utilize the Edging Tool to create borders and plant boundaries from the array of preview shapes and styles, or define your own with a couple of mouse clicks.

Edging options include:

• Cedar
• Pine
• Painted surfaces

Topography Tool

The Topography Tool lets you set the precise elevation of your property, allowing you to set the measurements for existing or desired hills, mounds, and valleys.

CAD Tool

The ultimate behind-the-scenes feature, the CAD Tool facilitates the placement of two-dimensional schematic geometry for in-ground sprinkler systems, at the same time concealing it within your 3D design view.

Ground Covering Tool

Use the Ground Covering Toot to preview, select, and apply a wide array of exterior ground cover, as you define the perimeter and shape of your garden.

Ground cover options include:

• Annuals
• Trees
• Shrubs

Landscaping Tool

Refine your selections even further with the Landscaping Tool showing color renderings of your selected plants at any age from 3 months to 50 years.

Landscape options include:

• Plant Growth Scale letting you visualize increased & decreased age & size of your plantings
• Individual Plant Details window listing soil, water & sun requirements

Fence Tool

Position multiple enclosure sections with the drag & drop capability of the fence Tool allowing for a host of configurations and placements.

Enclosure options include:

• Privacy fences
• Picket fences
• Ranch fences
• Split-rail fences

Gate Tool

Install single or multiple standard-sized gates from the drop-down menu, or re-size an existing template to your specs; the Gate Tool ensures that your gate conforms to the style of your fence!

Objects Tool

Employ the Objects Tool to place hundreds of pieces of clip-art exterior items into your completed Landscape Design.

Walk-through Tool

You control the pace and eye elevation of your 3D lot tour with the Walk-through Tool. The more you move the mouse, the faster you walk, while a right click adjusts the view height.
